Diesel not coming through on e46 320d.

So she died under my foot in traffic a few days ago. From Neutral into Drive, crept forward and dead.

Mechanic just let me know that the middle pump has failed apparently. I'm just looking for info and pricing on this kinda thing please.

Been Googling, but only found a thread mentioning a relay that's faulty.

There's no fuel coming out to the motor. Weird.

Any input before I go ahead would be appreciated.

Most likely it is the fuel pump. It was a cold morning, right? They do fail... Try to get one from a place like bemows.

Just an update for anyone passing through on this.
Was the diesel pump.

I'd hit the plate somewhere which protects the pump and it damaged the plastic bit where the fuel line goes in.
So diesel was leaking from it.

Hence the problem.

Replaced and sorted.
