Dent repair - Estoril blue JHB North

Hi guys

Who would you recommend for a dent repair/touchup in Joburg?

I'm not sure if it can be sucked out and also the paint is damaged, so could it be touched up or would it need a respray? Car is Estoril blue.

Dent is on the rear side panel. Quite high up, so I suspect it was from the rear door of a 4x4. Gotta love parking lots...

If you guys have any recommendations please let me know.

had to replace a door on my car. was done at an BMW approved panelbeater. they took me through the shop and explained what accreditation means (and cost them R5m). This was in upington.

the paint ended up perfect, so my 2cents....any BMW approved panel beater. they werent overly expensive either

You have seen my car, my MPerf parts were sprayed, JSN sent me to Reflex Panelbeaters who sprayed and installed all the parts. They are however in Wadeville!

Yeah, thought the same. Thought I'd ask here anyways though. At least the dent won't look so ghastly if it could be sucked out. Depending on how touch-up paint would look I wouldn't mind it, but I'm hesitant for the whole panel to be resprayed for obvious reasons (colour matching mainly)..

I have the same issue on the rear bumper. Someone bumped it with a trolley or something by the looks of it, it's dented on the top "corner" so the paint has cracked. Then shortly thereafter I ended up with a dent like yours also in the back bumper but a longer line and not as deep. Paint is fine but I doubt that "line" can be pushed out or anything. Maybe but the cracked paint is going to necessitate a respray anyway.

Ouch... Seems these Estoril blue cars are getting targeted

The dent is the main thing that draws your attention as you can notice it straight away. been quoted about 3.5k a while ago to fix and respray by ABS Autobody.

That can definitely be pushed out.
Only problem is the paint....
Recommendation is if you are OCD then to just have it resprayed...touch ups are never 100%

I have seen worse taken out without much effort - I had one on my front wheel arch much bigger done. There may be a slight paint blemish after a bit of polishing which you may be able to live with.

I cant recall the lady's name but Donnie Darko may be able to assist (forum member) but the company was Real Auto Care - they are JHB based and are a mobile entity. Can ask them to get an idea, number is 083 233 5566
