This one is for Coismans attention really. Wanted to have my 530d decatted yesterday. Guy at Supaquick said that it would be difficult getting it through roadworthy when selling as it will have to have a cat on it as it is a 2003 model. (Since 2002 all cars have to have cats) Is this true??

Its completely legal. Its not even a requirement to pass MOT in the UK. Don't waste your time with Supa Quick idiots. Noise boys will do a better job. Oh, and its not a quick job to do it on your car... Those cats are in a very uncomfortable position. Keep us updated.

take it to powerflow, I've got a plan to get mine done soon on a 320d, also 2 small CAT's close to turbo. They quoted me R1300 to remove and replace with 76mm pipe. Although I am taking the car to Superchips afterwards to remove O2 sensor error from Lamba sensor, dont know if your car will give similar error

Noise boys quoted me R800 to remove the small cats near the turbo and replace with pipe. They also did a good job of fixing the bad work done by Hi-Q on a friends ML55 AMG

Mmmm.. thats good to know. What branch of noise boys is that?

CNR Hendrik vervoerd & Jakaranda in Centurion. They said it will take a couple of hours and they will only do it during the week. R500 if you only want the innards beaten out, takes less time and they will do it if you arrive early on Saturday. I haven't had time during the week.
