Dealership unable to update Service History on iDrive

Hi Guys

I recently took my F30 in for a oil service.
Dealership was unable to update service on iDrive (on 2 separate occasions)

I was eventually told that I brought the vehicle in too soon (around 3000kms before service was due)
They mentioned that they contacted some "technical" team in Midrand and came to this conclusion.

Can you guys please confirm if this is legit or bull?

Sounds like nonsense? Pretty sure you could create daily entries on the iDrive system if you really wanted to? I'll gladly be wrong, but sounds fishy.

Nonsense...I service my F30 at ABM long before its actually due and they update my idrive with the service info every time. BMW Midrand know how to.

I also call Nonsense, had my F30 Serviced in Early November last year 5000km before the service was due, Joburg City couldnt update it on the day as their server was down, I kept calling my service agent weekly to ask him when i can come through, eventually told me to come in mid December, only issue was they updated it on this day and not the day the actual service was done. I wasnt too concerned as I only did a few 100kms after that.

Im not too fussed about the date on the system, as long as its on there :)
I will go back to the dealership today/tomorrow and ask them to update it.
