In the 3 months the car sat there, they replaced exhaust, fog lights, & a key(which had to go back twice to get right)... thats all.. in that time they also put a nice scratch in the bumper & had to get it resprayed...

What was wrong with the fog lights Andrew? My Dynamic is starting to show small hairline cracks in the lenses (not from stones or impact) seems like the crack from the heat off the globes... :dunno:

They thought the E60 is an amphibious vehicle and took it for some boating :):mmm:

dude....

just in case you wana take it to another dealership....avoid the Bryanston one as well.

Ive been there and got a verbal quotation of 2k odd for some brake pads....so booked the car in.....then they call and quote me 9k with shocks. I say no thank you and walked away 600 bucks less just for the inspection. Oh, and they charge you for washing the car :cursin:

If I were in your shoes, just walk in there randomly without any meetings booked, ask to see the manager, go into his office and bring him back down to earth.....HARD.

In my opinion, its not enough anymore to only get your car fixed after such an ordeal. Someone somewhere has to be held responsible and BMW dealerships need to learn that.

Without fail, every time I have been to a dealership I always get disappointed. Their service is absolute bull s**t.

I would kick their asses!!! WTF!! This is a premium brand with a premium price, if I want that kind of service I'll go and buy a Ford or Toyota...

I can honestly say I received far better service from Ford than BMW. I expected the opposite.

Maybe we should start documenting bad service from BMW dealerships and send BMW SA a monthly "How bad your service sucked this month" letter.
