DCT stall erratic idle

Hey guys

I drive a 135i dct. And the dct stalled twice now. A/c on is where it is acting most weird.

Jumping idle etc.

Is this a known issue? Or is there a sw update of sorts for this?

Had the same issue, a DME update sorted it out for me.

Had a similar issue with an E93 N54 DCT. BMW couldn't pick up the fault, cleared codes multiple times and sent the car back home, until the transmission failed altogether. The problem was supposedly the DCT oil cooler. The entire trans and cooling system had to be replaced.

had similar issue where would Almost stall out at stop street.

BMW said one of the breather holes were blocked on the tappet cover.
They replaced the whole cover and one of the hoses which was worn.

i couldnt find info on this issue on the net

problem is sorted now though

Speak to Gert @ OBDWorx.... maybe look at software update and box update as well...
