DCT Gearbox Service

[LFC]

Hi guys, looking to do some preventative maintenance soon, called ZF and they don't service DCT as its not a ZF product.

Anyone in PTA/JHB that offers this service?

I don't know too much regarding this, but shouldn't BMW offer this service?

BMW's official stance is that the 'lifetime oil' accommodates to any wear on items in the box. There is a procedure that requires virtually sterile conditions and a kit is available from Turner Motorsport using OEM BMW parts. However, JSN didn't want to do it on the car whilst it is still under plan when I asked about it (even pre-emptively and even if I paid) and I can't blame them if BMW is going to give them or me kak for doing it.

I am not sure what the circumstances are under which this would be approved. The procedure exists and parts exist and can be ordered individually after all.
