Dieselfan: The current turbo will max out at about 700hp, but its spec'd more for reduced lag and drive-ability..

So at this stage of Vaders life, the mods were:

Csl Front Bumper
Angel Eyes
Laminx front and rear
Csl rear diffuser
OEM Csl rear boot

Bilstein HD Shocks
H&R Springs
Power brake disc and pad combo
19" santiago wheels

Mtec gear knob with short shifter
Alcantara Shift and handbrake boots
Custom gun metal sprayed interior panels
Custom 'M' floor mats
Recovered and thickened steering wheel
Black 'M' pedals

Alpine 98xx head unit
Full 'make your ears bleed' Rockford Fosgate system with custom boot install.

Turner power pulleys
Full dual 63mm Stainless exhaust

On the quest for more power, I designed a turbo kit. The kit would be a single turbo that would retain aircon, make about 500 to 600hp and have less lag than conventional m3 turbos.

The motor:

Full motor build consisting of CP pistons, Vac bearings, Eagle rods and ARP's everywhere..

The block was honed to CP spec pattern, a few other secret bits and bobs were done, and the motor is assembled!

Just to add, The first mechie that assembled the motor made an absolute mess! I had my current mechie redo EVERYTHING..

Yeah.. name and shame. It was Gtech, the very same Mechanic that did the first engine build on Jezebel, which because of his lack of knowledge and expertise in bullshitting, then also required another rebuild. He was building both Jezebel and Vader at the same time. Thankfully he has gone out of business and Burg was able to take his car to a more experienced engine builder.

So this is basically a HPF Build? Either way this is the most epic bmw build I have ever seen on here. :clapper::clapper::clapper::praise:

Inablur, Not exactly an HPF build. I used to be an HPF dealer before they changed ownership. I really like their parts, very high quality stuff.

Main HPF components are: Intake manifold, management, integrated meth.

All the other components were bought with a big picture in mind, they are also all spec'd according to how I want this kit to turn out.

Thanks for the Kind words!

So to control boost levels, Im using a Greddy Profec:
http://www.greddy.com/products/electronics/profec/

Im really not sure where to mount everything in the Interior..

I have a micky mouse pod that will have a boost gauge and AFR wideband gauge. I have removed the 'sunglasses' holder in the centre console and built a mount for 3 gauges: Fuel pressure, oil pressure and methanol injection percentage.

Im a little stuck on where to mount the Profec and the HPF traction module.

I want them to look neat and out of the way without them being in the cubby..

All gauges are AEM digital, black faces and black surrounds.

Ideas?

Next to the relay box as there is ample space in there and you have the added advantage that you can remove the plastic curved shield for easier access to the modules.
That part of the engine compartment is relatively cool AND if you so wish you can channel cold air into it.

a1exander: Thanks for the ideas, I assume you meant for the sensors and control units etc? I meant for the interior gauges and stuff
