I am going to "revive" the e46 again this year, as I started to negligent it with all that happened last year and the track days the year before. The aim is make it nice and clean again. I need some input & advice from you okes.

The first obvious thing was either buy new rims or have the 44's fixed(one or two of them has a slight buckle), so the style 152's checked that box. They will get sprayed & fixed over the course of the year(this will not be a DIY job). There is no rush as the old rubber is still good. The new job is 99% office based, and the KTM does the quick 15min ride with easy. The e46 has only done 700km in the past 3 months :roflol: I want to go gun metal grey, any thoughts?

Next on the list is to polish and wax etc. I will not be going detail crazy but a decent attempt will be made. Sash has already started to help with which products to used for my needs.

Any of you guys know what I can use to clean the carpets & leather with, there are some dirt stains which seem to be stubborn? Would some household carpet stuff do the trick?

The SO managed to break the under seat first aid kit lid, that needs to be fixed :hammerhead:

I bought a tape to aux thingy, which has been in the car for about 4 months now. Will be using the gadgets I used in my helmet to make the aux a Bluetooth connecting setup. Also there is no pickup if the receiver is on charge witht he tape setup.

I need some advice with regards to the DMF & clutch. There is a proper shuddered when the car has stood for a while and then gets used again. Once moving all is good and once hot no shudder occurs. I have not yet replaced the DMF since I took ownership, the clutch was replaced 2 years ago I think. I suspect the DMF is at the end of it's life, any thoughts? This will take propriety it it is the case over all else cause these are not cheap .

The lights will be redone as well, I think it safe to say that I like the tinted look. I am however over trying to get the vinyl cut perfectly also the side marker is impossible to warp. I want to try the VHT Nightshade paint. Has anyone used this stuff before ?

There is no aftermarket lips or bits available for the Mtech 1 bumper and prefer it over the Mtech 2. If I can get my act together and measure up the front bumper. I want design and make my own front lip, I am not sure of the design just yet but it will be very minimal. I will start of with just 3 or 4 mm black ABS which will be glossed over.

Finally if time and funds allow I would like have damage on the rear filled and sprayed. Either DIY fill and then have it painted by a shop. Including the small dent that has been on the left fender since I purchased it.

The under side/ engine bay needs a very deep clean, the power steering fluid has made a real mess of everything . I doubt the capetonians would approve of me washing the engine at the moment, will have make a plan there :smilebounce:

PS: still want a z4 shifter and exhaust things :fencelook:

Any thing else that I might have missed?

Quite the list there,

I prefer using either a foam cleaner or dry cleaner that gets scrubbed in, I've been using the DNA range from Crazydetailer and it works well, but i have black carpets and i'm trying to remove the average stain.

Depending on the effort speak to @EMD20V he has a guy that makes custom lips.

No option for CD Changer on the radio? If so is there a replacement that allows for USB, SD and AUX?

What tint did you use? I also want to make mine darker, but the easy to find stuff is too light

Unless he shares "trade secrets" I am going at this on my own. I have access to proper CAD.

Went that route already via ebay cheap cable sound volume was very low.

China city at hillfox 50 bucks a roll. The dark one is on the tail lights and the light on the headlights.
