CX Racing intercooler for ~R1200 !!

Guys, I seen this cxracing intercooler for the x35i at $129 .
I haven't used ebay to purchase anything before.
I think this is a mistake, are the sellers obliged to sell at this price if it's advertised as such.

Anyone know about these coolers?
If good we can do a group buy.

99% of the time, you get exactly what you pay for. If it's too cheap, there's usually a good reason for it. Not saying that this particular intercooler is a piece of cr@p, but just saying be careful.

Here's an example of a cheap intercooler we recently removed from a clients car, which did not perform as expected:

Rather spend the extra money and get a quality part. Otherwise stick with the oem cooler.
You really dont wanna buy something that ends up performing even worse that stock.
If you want something you would really love, have a look in the forum for wagner intercoolers.

I actually found some good reviews on this intercooler.

I researched it on the internet and found the full kit selling for between $550 to $579.
Figured that these guys are selling it incomplete, it still requires welding mounting tabs to make it fit.

Any advice on the big tom intercooler. Many of the fastest x35i's in the world are using this cooler and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg, so they say .

Sorry man, i cant help you there. But i have heard many guys in the states are using them.

The cx racing stuff is sort of average. Apparently on the 335i, you have to trim quite a bit.

Also, factor in about $80 per cooler for shipping and custom duties and vat once landed

Big tom coolers got excellent reviews obroad with its ebay pricing. The problem is dealing with the nanufacturer and supplier. Good luck with that.

Chavoos: Ive heard good things, but id prefer one with less trimming to be honest.

Im not sure about the flow etc of the cooler either
