Thanks for the kind words, the way it all happened was just amazing.. like pieces of a puzzle simply falling into place... By far my best buying experience.

Epic epic cars! Congrats!
P.S. Airmatic can be expensive to fix if it goes wrong. Worth keeping an eye on
I'm aware of the expensive airmatic suspension and if it does give trouble i'll be sorting it out and not replacing it with coilovers due to the fact the car is so clean, I would like to keep it in this condition and i will be the only one working on it to ensure it stays perfect and complete with every nut and bolt in place.

Congrats. You should do the headers on it. Sounds like a beast. :cartel:
Its already got Headsers and Full exhaust..
Just cruising around you can hardly hear the V8 exhaust tone but its there just very faint as you cruise between 1000-2000 rpm , but if you floor it, the Sound it makes is insane, super loud. Really takes other road users by surprise when they see this merc was cruising along silent and then "RAWR" its possessed and ready to tear it up...
I also like giving it a small rev to set off the other car alarms in the basement at work. hehe..

waiting for the S54 comparison now:thumbs:
Thanks Mo, Two very different animals...
In a straight line 0 - 250km/h:
> I think the Z4M is going to be ahead on launch to around 160 then the merc is going to pass and open big.
> Z4 can take any bend at higher speeds than the merc... no contest if theres corners.
I will see if my brother and I can go out and make a video one of the days..

Very nice.
There is just something about how AMG goes about things that make them special.
Its a completely different car compared to any M, and its absolutely wonderful in its own right.
If the Airmatic suspension goes, just chuck it, and fit BC coilovers. I recently had a spin in a car with these items fitted, and it drives really well for less than 1/4 of the price for replacement OEM struts
Thanks Chris,
Because the mileage is still decent and the car is in tip top shape, I'll keep the Airmatic...
