coupe vs hatch?

I've been down this same road.

F20 Hatch or E82 Coupe :fencelook:
Both great looking cars but the Coupe is just so much sexier.

F20 though is more practical.
If you a tall person like myself having passengers in the back will be a tight squeeze.

Then again I always say are you buying a car for yourself for the passenger :thumbs:

what did you end up getting?

for me its the same thing, practicality [plus new design interior] vs sexyness...

I'm currently in the market for a 120d coupe.
It's the balance of fuel economy and sexyness.
As much as I would like a 125i or even a 135i, my problem is that i drive a lot.
If i had a spare car or didn't do a much km's I would have jumped at getting a 135i.

same problem here that i drive a lot - hence the love for the tractor sound

I would say based o. H fact that you spend a lot of time in the car, I would consider the 120d with 8 speed auto in 3 door hatch form with M Sport very seriously. The coupe does look better in my opinion, but the 3 door hatch I think will be awesome every day.

Note the new F20 120d has 135kw and 380nm, while the coupe has 130kw and 350nm.
