cash or HP doesnt make a difference to your insurance as the premium is based on your risk profile and book value of the vehicle. How you purchase is irrelevant.

FYI, Broker has quoted me 625.43 to insure CSL to value of R375000

Hey Bud, Ja I was bit stressed, but the story checks out (at the moment).. Apparently the guy has a house in joburg, durban and factories in Qwa-Qwa and that is where the CSL is...

Anybody tell me if there are factories in Qwa-Qwa ??

Ive been there 2 weeks ago, not much industrial things happening there, its about an hour off the N3 from harrismith . small place with a big mountain surrounding it
take some pics of the place to give others and idea of it

Ya, I saw that, and asked him about it, apprently he works for investment cars, so his brothers ask him to sell their cars ( csl and amg) and he buys and sells cars from auctions (jetta).

I am a little worried, so we will see. Its a lot of cash to loose.
