Hi guys

My Coolent light went on yesterday for a few minutes and then switched off again. Checked the water level this morning and it was fine. on the way to work it cam on again for a few mins and switched off. What could be the problem ?? :dunno:
NB:Replaced radiator (BEHR WELLA), and all water pipes (original) a few weeks ago and temp sensor (original).:bawling:

On What car is this Mareff? My e46 325 had the same problem after replacing the radiator, turned out to be a airpocket circulating in the system.

Could be a faulty water level sensor- sometime the little floater gets stuck, so it doesn't read correctly.
a buddies E46 kept showing the warning- changed the sensor an it was perfect.

but i have also heard of these problems after a radiator is replaced.
think "BMW M" might be on the right track

The bottle is new as well. it was replaced a week before i bought the car. So the sensor is new.

The sensor is not included in the new bottle, I replaced my bottle few months ago and just used the old sensor so just because you have a new bottle doesn't mean its a new sensor
