diy Coolant leak

Afternoon all,

I have a 2007 X3 2.0d M47 manual with 211191km on the clock. It started giving off a lot of white smoke, then I replaced the EGR cooler and the smoke went away. Now when the car goes above 2000rpm it spits out puddles of coolant out of the exhaust along with the original white smoke. Then lastly when the car idles, I can smell a sharp diesel smell coming from the engine and I see small clouds of smoke coming out.

Please help me, it feels as if I can't win with my car now

I think it's time for an Indy shop visit if what you describe is true.

Ok all so I fixed it. My EGR cooler was doing some stuff wrong, I blocked off my EGR and cooler and voila, my car is driving perfectly
