connecting DRL's

I wonder if anyone can help, I want to connect a set of aftermarket DRL's I have fitted next to my front fogs, I need to wire them to run when I put the front fogs on ( will disconnect fog globes) allowing me to switch on and off - any help appreciated

Power the DRL's through a relay from the battery, then use a t-tap from one of the foglights to control the relay.
