connected drive/idrive update

Hi guys.
My car was built in may2013. It has me-007.003.000 and te-007.003.000 installed but if I go the software update Web page and download the update as per my Vin number onto an USB drive and try to install it...i get told it's the latest version...any advice?

I would not try to update the SW from the versions available on the web. Take your car to BMW and ask them to update it :thumbs:

Also running same version (007.003.000) - tried updating it just now to (ME-7.0.75, TE-7.0.75) (UPD03002.bin) and it refuses.. 'Software up to date' :nonono:

Car is going in to Alberante soon so I will just ask them to update it for me..

I have either missed my beloved F30 too much or I am going crazy... Have 008.008.000 loaded on the car now and the audio playback now seems clearer than before?!

No complaints here but I am not sure if I am loosing my marbles or if it really is better? Who else is running this version? :fencelook:

ME 007.001.005 and TE 007.001.005 on my car build of car was March 2013.

Ok went to my dealer and reprogramed complete car now it is also up to date with the multimedia / bluetooth
:thumbs: It took 3hrs to load everything. But there were updates for nearly every module in the car.



Seems like BMW do not bother with the update on the internet

Cool stuff.. Lemme know what you think.. Maybe I was going mad thinking my sound is better :rollsmile: My USB interface has stopped working yesterday though.. Car is going back next week not too sure what might be wrong.

Do you know if they updated your gearbox software too? 3 Hours is long..

Well the computer went through all the modules from ECU, steering. Gearbox, I went to go check on the screen every 15 min. It was doing something on every module. I do have an extra option that was not on my car for locking and unlocking the boot with the doors it seems its split in 2 now. I did notice the revs are different in some gears now when cruising. Maybe its just adaptions. Because I could see everything was reset when writing to modules. Also going into my usb there seems to be an extra step but not to sure. Trip meter 0km. Pair my phone. Time was correct and for some reason my service indicator went from 10000km to 7000km to next service very strange. (car was serviced on 12000km and it has 16000km on the clock now and service interval should be 13000km). So somewhere 3000km went missing in this reprograming. I only noticed this now. Well I was planing to change the oil on every 6000km in between, so ill be changing oil next week :fencelook:

Mine is going back on Weds to reload all the software as the ME module is probably to blame for my USB issues.
On the servicing.. mine is also at 13k after a service (just been serviced at 52k) but it drops quickly so I end up going every 8k for the oil service which I think is correct for a diesel!

Will report on my software reload - it could have failed to update all modules or loaded a corrupted version, no facts yet.
