Howsit Gents,

So last night I was at the Dyno @ FR & R met up with a few off the other fanatics.

I went on the dyno after ///Shaun put his 330d on, well done on the power and torque, car is strong.

However I would like to point out something that is what I believe is wrong!

Attached is the dyno Graph of /// Shauns 330d compared to my 330d

Why is it that his car is Petrol Turbo Charged, mine is diesel and why is the ambient correction double mine?? :thumbdo::thumbdo:

Will this cause a diff in the figures??:nonono::nonono:

PS: No disrespect to ///Shaun.

which is why a dyno is supposed to be used as a tool to guage the effect of modifications, ie. a before mods dyno run, vs an after mods dyno run USING THE SAME SETTING AND DYNO.

used as a bragging tool, a dyno can be setup to show you whatever you want to see..(within limits ofc)

far too many variables on a rolling road / chassis dyno to be taken as the gospel. simply running bigger rims/tyres and tyre pressure can affect the dyno reading. always take it with a pinch of salt. dyno is a tuning tool, useful for comparisons when modding. nothing more
