Fantastic cars all round, very happy with mine and I'm biased..... had a 2006 Msport which I had from new and paid R420k for and now on a 2009 Msport Which I bought for R150k 18 mths ago :skit: makes you wonder about the values of new cars!!

I do a lot of traffic driving and get around 9,3l/100km, but when on long trips it has been down to 5,6l/100km but averages around 5,9/6,2l per 100km, which for a car of its size and power is unbelievable really.

Car looks very good, very plain without the sports pack, but really very good.

I'm thinking I should get it :tiptoe:

Well, now that I'm getting a big diesel, I can sell the M.. so I'll have to take it to the track.

You may be surprised, the first one I had (mentioned above) I did around 70 laps of Kyalami - gave many a sports car a hammering and surprised quite a few people. May look a bit boat like in dimensions but it does handle well and obviously the torque pulls it along nicely

Not to hijack the thread but just came back from a 3200km trip to Pta and back and got average of 16,1km/l with my e60 530d. I do not want to sing the car's praises too much as i want to replace mine with a later model by the end of the year and i don't want more competition from you guys when you hear how good the E60's really are! Was thinking of getting a motorsport but after this trip i am quite happy to get the standard model. Mine has the 18inch m/sport wheels with 245/40's on and i must say that it makes quite a difference to the looks and ride, not harsh at all. A very good combination, the looks without the harshness! Still have to make the final decision between m/s and non m/s. M/s looks the business!

I'm not surprised you made an impression with the sports suspension and all that power. :cartel:

It does. I will say though. That on runflats with those 18's and Msport Suspension that the ride can be a little hard on some of the bumpier roads around the suburbs, but once on the highway the ride is sublime and the road holding is epic!

I must say, although I would have liked the look of a M Sport, I'm pretty stoked with it being a non M Sport, many many miles of smooooooooth...

O' yes, I'm buying it

Indeed, I'll probably get it late next week as I've asked them to fix all the stone chips.

If you sell the m for a diesel we can't be track buddies anymore. :tease:

Lol, I told you, I'll use me scooter :cartel:
