Clutch delay valve removal

Hi, has anyone with a manual E46 removed their clutch delay valve? I'm used to the clutch in an E36 and just find the E46 clutch difficult to shift smoothly. I've read that the clutch delay valve might be causing this.

On e36 the cdv screws into the cylinder on the gearbox , when removing this you may have to have a hose made up to fit both end fittings if the threads on the inside of the cylinder does not match the hose end fitting .Otherwise should be ok to do . Watch for spilling brake fluid .Then bleed system .

Thanks, the info I've read on the internet all points in favour of having this done. It would be nice to have the feel of a real clutch again and not something designed for Americans who can't drive a stickshift.
