Closure of BMW Leo Haese Pretoria

Just got an email from BMW South Africa informing me that Leo Haese Pretoria is closing down.

I have had a few discussions with John regarding this.

It is sad and he explained to me why it's closing. Basically BMW SA is coming down hard on certain dealerships for various reasons, and many more have closed or are in the process of closing than we may have heard of.

John has ideas of new ventures and possible further advertising on the forum and so we look forward to a plausible future relationship with John and the business.

For now, the forum has decided to allow John and BMW Leo Haese Pretoria to continue advertising in their full capacity to assist them with the closure so that they can push out as much stock as possible to Fanatics, regardless of the lapse time of their contract with the forum.

I do hope the future holds better things for John, as deserved for his dedication and willingness to assist members even outside of his direct role at BMW.

It is indeed the dealership where John is. The potential of that dealership and the way the service department was being handled by John is a big loss to BMW in my opinion. They need more people with the same passion for the brand and for interacting with people that John had.
