They are hot cars, still searching for one to restore and add to my collection.. If any one was at the Mandela show last year they would ahve seen Paul's Red one..... magnificent....

That just looks amazing.My dad has got one in metallic blue but I prefer it in silver.These rims suit the car perfectly

BMW 3.0 S. The predecessor of the 7-series.

Should be early '70s model.

I think they were quite big in the USA - winning many awards and, along with the 2 door CS model had the best 6 cylinders engine at the time.

It's a pity that S. Africa got BMWs so late - 1968 onwards, with the BMW SA (2000sa) which wasn't a real BMW anyway! BMW had been way ahead of its time since its beginnings.

This is a truly solid, pure BMW!

Yip! Bmw E3, my dad has a realy rare manual 3.0si (It was the first fuel injected m30 engine) that made it's way here via a diplomat from belgium. It needs some work but runs.

the coupe is the e9, which by the way is beautiful. There was an orange batmobile 3.0csi e9 on gumtree for 500k about 6months ago
