Chirp on lock and unlock...and other coding

Hi

Want really some answers here. I saw some very old posts on this but dont want to wake them up..rather new one.

After calling 2 bmw dealers....and call 0800 nr...they tell me my car can not be coded to chirp on door lock and unlock....also panic mode dont work.

Car have oem alarm in tested by lock and open door inside.

After 90 hours of googling ive come to conclution it can be done. But all the info is overseas..any of y fellow sa guys did this?

As we discussed bud, its definitely possible. I've coded a few cars to do exactly this. But there's no option in the dealer tools to do this, hence BMW not being able to help. I use other software to handle this side of things.

Agreed with Ratslaaf@OBDWorx, it is possible but falls outside the capabilities of BMW dealers. BMWSA do have the necessary tools, however, they will not be able to assist customers directly either. 'Aftermarket' tuners can make a plan though!

I have done it also on a handful of cars using NCS expert.. However bmwhat is more foolproof..

You need an inpa cable. Not a bluetooth adapter. So you would need a converter to turn miniusb to full usb first.

Borrowed hella's one, but it tell me its ecu to complex for adaptor..now i dont want to buy carly for R700 and then mine also wont do it!

You'll need either an inpa cable or the icarly app to do this. Either of them cost about the same, unless someone in your area has an inpa cable you can borrow.
