I just wonder how long will the a45 fair in the long run. It already boosts at extremely high psi and now with a chip even higher. I'd take the m135i any day. Also it would be more fair to compare a 1m vs the a45

I somehow feel these guys alter results to exaggerate the gains of their Chipbox tho.
Seems like the results are correct, but maybe the gaps each car got was exaggerated.

I was at the SOCSA drags last weekend. That Chipbox A45 AMG was there. A blue A45 also arrived. Not sure if it had any mods or anything but IF I heard correctly they both ran a 13.5 1/4 mile time. As some of you may know the audio system at ODI is pretty soft.

If I did hear correctly I'm not all that impressed with it.

Chipbox results are indeed over exaggerated and gaps between chipped a45 and chipped m135i was same as the stock run

The "G6 GTi" I mentioned to you has chipbox. The owner claims the power they told him, well they work on percentage.

Lol, told him to go dyno the car and get disappointed.

I have been waiting to catch a 1M on a road but they are hard to find Also only seen a few m135i's lately. Where does everyone hide ?

The M135 and m235 are really running well Awesome cars bru But still Ive seen a few videos now with the AMG racing 135 Coupes and hatches Merc should atleast come try against the real M boys and then begin its bragging they seem do be doing so well.

Fair way to test is manual M135i vs the 1M

About the chip box.....they always say one gets this & that result....best way to test is to dyno before chip box install..and after chip box install....same dyno....same day....

I think 1m will be quicker vs the m135i but it will be a close match, btw what times does a 1m run on the 1/4 mile ?

I think testing is definitely in order.
Conclusive for ourselves!

I dont trust the Chipbox results.
They are definitely skewed. Judging by how the Chipbox M135i dropped the stock A45 and the stock M135i stuck to the Chipbox A45, the Chipbox M135i should have taken the chips, leaving the A45 with a chip on its shoulder and a pain in the box.

From my science experiments with a non stock 1M my prediction would be:

1M=M235i > M135i if all variables were stock? :rollsmile:
