So lets do it...
Dont think you must spray it. Next year you want your wood back then you can just peel it off. Why spray it?

ChefDJ said:Just want to post an experience I had on my trip down to Port Shepstone this last weekend.
I had the car on cruise control doing 110kph and I noticed it started slowing down on an uphill. I immediately started stressing that the turbo was going. I phoned my uncle who was convoying behind me to check for smoke but he only saw what he said to be standard diesel smoke upon acceleration.
I pulled in to a garage in Mooi River and listened to the engine sound and checked for smoke upon revving. I immediately remembered that I had this problem before.
Vacuum leak.
To confirm, when pulling out of the garage and onto the main road, I accelerated in manual mode up to 2500rpm with not much power, and as soon as it passed 2500rpm the car shot forward like a rocket with clouds of black smoke billowing out behind me.
So this weekend it looks like I'll be stripping off the intake manifold to look for a possible lost vacuum line plug, or something along those lines.
Also, re the "gearbox" problem... It's not a gearbox problem :=):
