It's always good to have the fault diagnosed with these cars, but in this case where most of the time it's the key that's the culprit, it's your call buddy :thumbs:

You're gonna need a second key sooner or later, so it's not like you're gonna be wasting money :rollsmile:

The 3rd party key suppliers like drive sure should be able to repair your current key. But truthfully, having only one key is a big risk, because if you lose it, you will end up replacing a couple of modules in the car to get a new key working. That will cost you a bunch. How do you get to a place where you only have one key (aimed at the previous owners) ? I have four.

They told me to take it to a dealer and find out what's wrong and then bring it back once I know the problem.

Chef I get the feeling there is truth behind the Key issue mentioned here already. Maybe not such a bad idea to take it to the dealers then or someone else on the forum that will be able to read your error codes.

I've delayed this for too long :nonono:

Need to have them fixed ASAP. Would like to have them repaired with original adjusters, possibly stronger ones so they don't break again :flyfun:

Any recommendations? Are these adjusters only available from dealers?

The challenge with the stealers is that they did not sell these separately and only as part of the complete headlamps - things may have changed now.

However, at the time, there were a few eBay guys selling them separately - they were also some decent ones made from metal.

DJ if you can cook you can fix the lights.

To remove the light units is easy it only looks complex.
It is basically 3 plugs and 4 screws

However, at the time, there were a few eBay guys selling them separately - they were also some decent ones made from metal.

I know about the ones made of metal, however they cost around R1000. But I suppose if you want them to last...

Just an update.

I have ordered and paid for a set of adjusters from eBay, due to arrive end of July :rollsmile:

Once they arrive, I'll have a look at preparing roast headlamp :thumbs:
