Thanks. She's been a bit pricey lately with everything that needed doing but I'm not complaining. Enjoying every second of her and am having no problems at all. At least I have the peace of mind knowing that all the major stuff has been checked and fixed/replaced where needed. Will easily climb into her tomorrow morning and take a trip down to Mossel Bay if I could

Okay so new reservoir is in. Was pretty easy to remove and replace. Was VERY clever and decided that I don't feel like cleaning up spilled antifreeze SO what I did was I sucked it out using a water vacuum (the one I use for my fishtank... gonna need a new one of those now I suppose) before disconnecting all the hoses and unclipping the clips and removing the removed
:rollsmile::rollsmile::rollsmile:
Then I simply put the new one back in one foul swoop (a clip here, a screw there and an adjustment somewhere else), filled with new antifreeze and topped up with water.

She's ready to roll

Hope you enjoyed my bedtime story

Good stuff

Be sure to monitor the coolant level for the next few days, just as a precautionary measure.

What you might wanna check is your Turbo! If its leaking oil in and around the boost pipe that goes down to the inter-cooler. Mine was leaking a bit of oil and it didn't seem serious till Friday night where my Turbo exploded into little pieces! Was a great night indeed!

Just check it out, rather safe than sorry, I'm just thankful that it went nuclear when I wasn't too far from home, If I was far out it would have be a F#@$@k up!

So I noticed a rattle coming from the boot lid when music was a bit... More audible than usual.

I stripped off the panels thinking that I could just shove a pillow or some sponge in between the outer and interior panels. WRONG! No space.

What I saw was two panels supposed to be stuck together with rubber glue or something which has probably gone hard and cracked cos of the sun...

And went crazy

Now I'm just waiting for it to dry a bit before putting the panels back on...

And voila! My baby had a silicone job :roflol: Who wants to feel? Feels so real...

The panels can be tricky to remove with all the clips and a hidden screw, but don't worry. I was a bit forceful and still nothing broke.

The hidden screw is inside the handle area where you grip to pull the boot lid down, under a small cover that just clips out.

Just be careful with the emergency release lever when taking it off

Thx bud!

Didn't even know about that hidden screw!

Would've prob broken it off and only realized afterwards what I've done:flyfun:
