Another thing... When I start the car it pings with a warning for one of the rear lights. No idea which rear light, as they all work fine, but a rear light warning is coming up. Any suggestions?

Brake light in rear window is fine. All works. Not a single faulty globe or anything....

I still need an expansion reservoir at a decent price. The cheapest I can find is R1200 from Alberante BMW in Alberton. I'm in Randburg.

Not too sure if I'd wanna go the second hand route with something like that

Beautiful car, 5 series with that kit looks so good and its the 530d which is awesome!

You can get the expansion tank at goldwagon! I got mine from there, its an original part they just file the bmw logo off for some reason, but its identical!

You should consider doing software on this car, the 3.0D responds extremely well to software! you will get a major improvement in power! and Decat the exhaust, it helps allot and it makes that sweet turbo sound very very nice! :thumbs:

Thanks man. I can't get it from Goldwagen. The one for the petrol is different from the diesel, I've been told, and that they only stock the petrol. I know a gut who owns a Goldwagen. I've also been strongly advised NOT to do software by many, including a buddy who works for BMW. Do you have an E39 diesel? Would love some first hand experience and advice. I'd like software, not to race, but for extra fuel economy and the extra power should I need it.

Was out of the country for that meet and the rain(actually was lazy) kept me away from the previous one but did attend quite a few of the previous meets.

Will try and make the next one though...:thumbs: as the 5ivers are usually outnumbered by the 1's and 3's.
