I managed to get the entire thing off, using schols comping which you can get from moe crazy rides. Alternatively I'm willing to give you some from my stash. Do you have a DA machine?

(She should not of been driving - was a sick as hell and on meds - no depth perception and blurred vision - but HAD to go to a company function!!!).
I had a look and decided to try some petrol to remove the white paint - worked like a charm, took all the white off, gave it a rinse/wash and a bit of polish and it looks like nothing ever happened. Perhaps give that a try for the stubborn black marks Chef for now.
ET was here said:ChefDJ@TheFanatics said:Second hit in 7 months (again, not my fault):
The culprit, a 76 year old lady:
but at the same time kept saying "please go easy on me"
I can't help but feel sorry for the old lady. She got all tearful.
, and she was trying to park next to me.
76 years old
don't feel sorry for her
she shouldn't be aloud to drive anymore, if she cannot park
it is time this old goat hangs up her driving gloves
In the UK they would send her for remedial driver training, and she would probably fail, end of driving licence
next time she will kill someone because she coudn't see, or coudn;'t react properly anymore yada-yada

I did a diagnostics check on it last week and found out that the airbag-related sensors on the driver's side are faulty, so I need to strip out the seat and see what's going on there. This is rather alarming, so it's a priority check. Will do it next week as well.

:chef:
did it say "drivers side airbag tensioner"
if so
no need to strip, the culprit is then the big connector under the drivers seat
vibrates, (vacumm cleaner hose touching it etc) causes an interuption in current, stored in the computor 9 times, the tenth time it sets off the light and can only be reset via a diagnostics
thats the only airbag repetitive problem I have on my 5'er
50 MRS: Power supply
01 MRS: Airbag, driver, stage 1
0D MRS: Airbag, driver, stage 2
02 MRS: Belt tensioner, driver
70 MRS: Seat occupancy detector
Yup. Also, I am never going to any event where chef is going to be, or if I am, I will be catching a taxi.Hugo_za said:Dedication pays off. Your 5-er is one of the best looking ones around bud!raise:
