I blame the JRA for this.
As a rep I have been all over JHB and PTA with these roadworks and what pisses me of the most is the Signage.
I can not tell you how many times I have almost been in an accident, even to the point where i called 702.
Here is the problem.
There is no forewarning that the road is being reduced in lanes. I remeber when there would be a sign saying road narrows in 400 m etc.
Now Nothing. you come along (especially n12) around a bend doing speed limit and suddenly the lane is closed with cones traffic on your left and you slam on brakes and hope the guy behind you doesn't hit you.
