Casual social meet... (We have to get a name for this)

Hey guys.

2 years ago, when I still had my e36, the Fanatics use to get together at Starlight Diner almost on a weekly basis...

What happened to this traditional meeting? Has it moved somewhere else or did it die out...?

For me it was alot of fun getting together with the Fanatics and just chatting all this BMW and inspecting each others rides...

This was also a good get together for newbies to meet the local Fanatics.

So how about it guys, lets resurrect this awesome old tradition.:thumbs:

Lets throw some ideas around...

It had died cos it was mainly for the northern suburbs fanatics, was too far for the southern guys and West coast.
It was moved to Time Cafe in Century City, to be central for everyone. It used to be monthly, then it died down till about a year ago, it's now quarterly with hardly anyone attending. The last few has been max 6 fanatics

I know I'm new here but I second the notion of starting the group therapy :rollsmile: again...

If there's a monthly platform and sufficient information...

And we keep on calling, they will come... :idea:

Why not stick to the usual location at Time Café and make use of their Wednesday Burger Specials.....
We have close by parking and no problems with seating

I suggest Wednesday 2nd October from 19h15 onwards as usual.... :idea:

thats why I am asking, Rolf is suggesting next week wednesday to meet but the BMW committee meating is on.

Like I said... Time Café is actually ideal for our small group meetup!
Enough close by parking FREE after 7pm, the Time Café Burger Special at virtually half price (R35 is not bad for their Gourmet Burgers) and most important: we are welcome there :joy:

Carbon, can you maybe organize that we can park on the BMW showroom side of the road opposite Time Cafe? I just think it would be nice to have all the Fanatics parked next to each other...

Don't need to organise it. We sometimes parked there if the parking by Time Cafe is full
