The Z4M on average seems to run around 5-10 deg cooler than the E46M (understandably with more space and cooling)
The Z4M went up to a max of 110deg C yesterday tracking around Zwartkops in one session. Not pushing that hard either. 7000-7500rpm shifting.
Oh and the car is still running TWS 10w60 (3900km old)
Isn't it also due to electric fan vs viscous fan? Electric fan can vary its speed even in the pits. Viscous is RPM dependant and can only spin at idle speed while sitting in the pits.Andy1GP said:Re read the whole thread, I'm amazed that some cars never go over 100 deg C.

My car is due for a service with APS (Anton Slabbert) and he is insisting I continue with 10w60.
