is it possible to make it at decent coffee shops, not the ones at garages, there coffee is :yuck:

maybe also make it a bi-monthly event, and change the location so as guys that travel far ,dont the next time

example,east rand,then out fourways,then centurion.etc etc

Upon planning we will try as much as possible to cater for everyone's needs and make it as convenient as possible.

And yes, a proper coffee shop. Not a garage. Hence i suggested Woodmead Retail, theres a News Cafe and a Fego IIRC.

In essence it would not or should not be a once of meet. We can have it as many times as we want at different locations to cater for everyone.

Very little planning involved. I am sure a few days notice is good enough. Its not an event, its a meet and greet...

Must be Fanatics telepathic (telepathetic?) lol.

I was thinking of organising one in Cape Town too.

I want to make use of a mobile coffee stand. I saw them in January at a car show, but for the life of me, can't remember their name. I do remember the logo was in green and red.

Anyone here who knows what I am talking about?

I enjoyed the ice cream meets, but the meet we had in Centurion for breakfast was actually much more relaxing.

So I all for such an idea Yaseen

Jandre, lets organize Gauteng and CT C&C at the same date and time?

My friend is in Dallas, he sent me some pics of this Cars and Coffee meet and they had a mobile coffee station where people made their own coffee as they pleased. It was a large meet, so a couple stations where required. This would require a bit of planning and well, we would need a big enough crowd to justify carrying an earn...

Unless we use radiator water!!! :biglol:

Also, if we have it at a venue like Woodmead Retail or even Stoneridge for example, SO's can browse/shop and the kids can play in the kids play area's while the men talk cars... WIN WIN WIN!!!

I am hoping to get the name of these mobile coffee stands during the course of the day.

They sold coffee, latte's, espresso, muffins etc.

It works brilliantly.

Great idea:praise:

But watch out for roadblocks on the weekend in woodmead:thumbdo:

Thanks!

As much as i hate Road Blocks, i dont think we need to be concerned unless we do something wrong!! Up until we are all gathered talking crap, its just an individual going for coffee or a family going shopping.

Im sure all our BMW's are legally allowed to be on the road?
