Currently driving a 2016 M135i and suddenly while driving I received a whole lot of warnings( Lights, Driving Stability, etc) and then car goes into neutral and switches off?. Has this happened to anymore before and if so what was the issue?.

My e90 330d used to flash the dashboard lights and turn on the windscreen wipers while driving and sometimes switching off.
Turned out to be a faulty alternator.
Yeah mine also started off being the alternator, it was over charging and ended up frying electrics which then ended up me changing battery, water pump, thermostats and footwell module
