This stunning 1974 BMW 2002 restomod up for auction is as cool as the other side of the pillow. The boxy lines of the iconic Bimmer mixed with the resorted and modified interior is a perfect automotive match.

Beautiful. Also the car is not bad either ;)

j/k

I love how simple the car is. Inside and out. No extra B/S. Just a driving machine.

I know that car.

Owned by a nice chap in California, it has a Schrick 292 cam, 9.5/1 Pistons, Weber 40 DCOE carbs, IE Stage 2 springs and Bilstein HD Shocks. The colour is fjord met. It used to have the US spec bumpers, also known as diving boards, horrible looking things, but has welded the holes up and fitted euro bumpers. The interior is not original obviously, but nicely done.

Pretty sweet setup, and apparently very quick in the canyons.

EDIT: I see it has a Personal gear knob, never seen that before. I know about the steering wheels though.

The second car with the E21 AlpinA wheels is Nevada in colour with original AlpinA "road" flares. Super rare. These are steel, compared to the others made from fiberglass. Also very nice.

AlpinA Road flares:
