It's really another machine once boosted and the best part is that it feels like it could take on more boost and that the rev limiter needs to be raised by another 1000rpm, it revs up with such ease.

Yesterday I did some testing at Mkuze airstrip with new timing equipment from the States. We planning on have top end runs here. So we tested the track, equipment and braking distance. This track is roughly 140kms away from RBay. All cars were in street trims, street tyres, fuel etc. Here's some pic's and results.

Nice numbers. Does the BS have the ice tank? If not its worth having it even just for the added coolant, I noticed a good amount of intake drop when I added it and it held the power through to top end nicely.

Yes bud it was featured in Speed & Sound about 2 months back.

Nice numbers. Does the BS have the ice tank? If not its worth having it even just for the added coolant, I noticed a good amount of intake drop when I added it and it held the power through to top end nicely.

No ice tank. You are correct I was monitoring the IAT and it picks up quickly and I did feel the drop in power from 700meters onwards. Why don't the guys run meth injection? Car is in today to complete the rest of the exhaust from X pipe to the rear.

This Merc will be in action next week at the first MSA event at Dezzi Raceway. Rims are in JHB currently for widening. Zorst completed today.

Don't want to start a new thread since this is BMW forum. Having built this car and setting it up for it's first ever drag event and racing it for the first time at an unknown (drag) track this Sat I piloted this C63 AMG Blk Series SC with my BMW //M shoes on to a record time of [email protected].

I believe that this is the quickest C63 in SA currently and the first C63 to dip into the 10's. Pic's to follow.
