HI all

Im new to this forum. I'm buying an M140i I get her next week, super excited.

I'm getting the Sport Automatic gearbox, since I felt this time I wanted an automatic, for all those times i sit in slow moving traffic.

This will be my first BMW

My previous cars:
Golf VR6
Polo TDI
Mazda 3 MPS
Ford Fiesta ST

I had a few cars on my list I wanted:
Nissan 370Z
Golf R
Audi S3

The Nissan 370Z is fast and sounds amazing, but sadly this car wouldnt be ideal due to practical reasons. Liked both the Golf R and S3 but I just thought the bm was better value, hope i made the right choice. If anything the M140i should be as quick or very close to the mentioned cars over 1/4 mile, not that that is the most important reason im buying it, its more bragging rights than anything. The most attractive part was that sweet 6 cylinder.

But the more videos I watched and research I did the more I started falling in love with the M140i even without driving it. And when I got in it my mind was instantly made up. I think I made the right choice

Looking forward to learning and having more discussions on this car.

I welcome any unique information you want to share with me about this car. I have done quite a bit of research already but always keen to learn more.

Epic car you have there bud. Many happy miles. Any plans for the car when you get it ?

Thanks. My plans? Just drive and try to contain my grin

Other than that I am keeping her 100% stock, not doing anything to compromise warranty or motorplan. I'm quite happy with 250kw and its way more than I'm used to.

So i first need to get used to her and the power have some respect, its RWD after all which im also not used to, so wet or slippery road, I dont want a Jeremy Clarkson incident he had with the 135i. Also the car is quite an expense so I need the tyres to last me quite a while.

Sorry if that is a boring answer :)

But I am quite interested to see what others have done with theirs

Ah if youre new to the power game then definitely keep it stock... for now  If you throw "some" money into the car you can get it around 400wkw :skit: its been done on many a m135i so would expect greater results on the M140i.

Gorgeous car and that white is just the best. Enjoy it bud.

But remember we guys will always want more....." POOOWWWWAAAAHHH"

Please post some more pics when you get her.
