Theres always the issue of the MP as well. F10 M5's are going for R600k as well. If you are buying an M car, most likely out of plan, factor in the higher maintenance, especially tyres and hope nothing goes wrong as well. My choice would be to buy a 2-3 year old car after the 1st owner has taken the big knock in depreciation.

The M cars with higher mileage is actually a high risk, you don't know what you getting chances are they modded the crap out of it, accident damage not disclosed etc etc. Not to put anyone off but I was victim to this. If it was me I would get a close to demo performance car. M240i gets my vote from the options the OP listed but a low mileage one. RS3 is an option so is the A45 but you will never have fun like you will in the M240i
