Buying a 2005 120d

I am looking at buying a 120d and am looking for some insite into these cars.

First off are there any major issues with them, turbo blowing etc??

Also does anyone have a list of standard features this car has for this year and what would be concided good extras to look out for??

I was hoping you were refering to the standard features and what optional extra I should look out for...

Get all the optional extras you can, those have pretty much no value on the used market, if the seller tries to tell you otherwise, just play dumb and get them to lower the price...

I have a 2005 120d.

Issues I have had:

Replaced pulley and belt for ancillaries
Clutch judders intermittantly
Car rolls slightly before handbrake engages

Turbo might need replacement in future

Apart from that no major issues...

If I was in the same position, I'd buy a petrol 1er - just sounds awesome.

Me too: 2005 120d

Same issues as above

1. But clutch issues were resolved permanently and did not appear again.

2. Car use to roll but handbrake issues got resolved permanently.

3. Turbo got replaced in second year...been going great since.

4. If I was in the same position, I'd buy (it again) - fuel consumption is unrivaled....with chip....and performance is spritely:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Does anyone know of a clean 120D for sale?? Preferably with sports pack and sunroof??
