This weekend, the intention was to tackle the engine / arches and start on the interior, but with the rain there were a some changes to the plans...
Started with the engine
Not to bad but did show signs of alot of dust and surface grime collecting
Decided to give the underneath of the bonnet some TLC first
Using a drop sheet I covered the top of the engine, no point in getting the grime and dirt falling directly on then engine, That just means more work
Auto Finesse Citrus Power was sprayed on and left for a few mins to soak.
Some grime already starting to collect, the drop sheet doing its thing :biglol:
MMM think it was a good idea after seeing this
Then rinsed off
A blower then used to remove the remaining water
Citrus Power / APC was then sprayed onto the engine
The DC's were then removed and covered...covered a few times :=):
The APC / Citrus Power was left for a few mins to soak and there after various brushes used to to clean up
Steam was used in most areas as well to help loosed on bonded dirt
The tail pipes were then removed
Sprayed with some APC, notice the dirt run off...:thumbdo:
Detail brush used to clean it
Car was then sprayed with APC / Citrus power x2 to remove any surface dirt
Due to rain, the was process wasn't documented.
Car was then moved inside and clayed
then washed again and leaving me with this :thumbdo:
50/50 of a test pass
Looking decent Nigel :=):...well I was pleased
I've started the correct process from the rear and intend working towards the of the car
more to follow....
