Wow.. This car is on point.. its an inspiration to me cos it is so tastefully modded.. I have been following your build for a long time but only recently bought a 1m. .
Did u ever consider the n55 midpipe m performance resonator delete? Don't want to hijack but I am considering this mod next..

Completely missed your post. yes, I've had the N55 mid pipe on the car and it worked really well, given that I've been through a few exhaust setup's that the only reason I've changed. It's a reasonable priced mod that I will definitely recommend.

So some further updates, since fitting the Vargas the car was been performing really well but seems to get stage fright when its at an event. I thought that the water had broke at the ODI event but turned out to be HPFP, 3 days before the Turner Wars event, they clutch gave up resulting in my having to fit a stock clutch just so that I could make the Fanatics dyno day that weekend.

The stock clutch slips badly over anything over 18 PSI, so was happy with the 500 odd WHP it put down at the dyno event.

I've also added the Vargas inlets and removed the AEM meth kit and went for the JB integrated setup which seems to be working well.

The car with the right clutch makes anything between 580 and just over 600 WHP depending on fuel and condition @ 23PSI

I'm most likely will be going with a locally made clutch, built by the folks at ADF (they build the BMW production race cars), its basically a clutch that is made up using X5 and M3 components.

Let us know how it works out, I am also considering locally made up units. Even is it is purely just for local support.

And as always awesome car bro!!!

Howsit bro

How is the clutch coming?

What tire setup are you running bro? I'm considering semi's for daily driving, but I'm worried about the amount of heat cycles they can take.

I'm most likely go with a single mass flywheel and 330D or 550i clutch. Full Race in the South of JHB can make up the flywheel for about 7k.

I swap between standard wheels which has Yoki Neova's and my other set of wheels that has Michelin PS2. The Yoki's work really well with no issues. I find that they have a little more noise that the Michelin's but thats expected.

The Yoki's need some heat in them before they start to work efficiently.

This car will be super fast then...

Thanks bro, I'm considering the Neovas. I've got a set of Bridgestone RE11S on the back now, but they are basically done.
