So, the first notable change on the car has been the software. The car is currently running a custom COBB only tune that has been done by the folks at PTF Tuning out in the States.
Some background on the journey. I've been through regarding software. The initial tune on the car was done by Xcede. The car performed really well and was absolute fun to drive. I then decided to have meth installed and went for the JB4 tune with the meth integration. My car didn't take to the JB4, the car was very inconsistent and become more of a headache that actual enjoyment. But be aware, this is specific to me. I know and seen first hand of some of the fastest N54’s in town running the JB4 with absolutely no issues, I mean niks, nada...nothing! I on the other hand, well the relationship didn't last long and didn't end very well.
This brings me to another point... becoming brand blind!, in the pursuit of going faster, people tend to lose their integrity and morals. Where am I going with this? This is regarding Xcede.
Sherwin and I have been friends for many years, pre the inception of Xcede. When I changed tunes on the car. It was never a case of ill feelings between Sherwin and I, we continued and still continue to very close and good friends, when people change tuners, funny things happen, friendships are lost, it becomes a consistent grudge that can be sensed at all time, avoid taking each other calls...Guy’s let’s not forget our roots and those that stuck by you!
Right enough of the sloppy stories, back to HP....
•Next up, was the installation of an AEM water meth kit, which was installed by Mo@ Motronix! Couldn't have chosen anyone better for the job, the workmanship is simply spectacular.
•I have also changed to a PSR CP and installed a HKS BOV, due to the design of the Injen DCI. On the CPE CP, the Tial BOV sits very high up on the CP, which restricts the proper install of the Injen intake.
•The car will be fitted with an AEM HPFP, this is a problem I picked up in DBN, need to get around to having the pump fitted
There isn’t much more that I can do to the car right now, I may look at some diff upgrades in future.
I’ve also had the Alpine Retro fit audio kit installed, and looking to do a wheel upgrade soon, including the power dome bonnet. Have to get the headlights done and to think I had them off the car ready to ship...
I would seriously like to thanks the following folks for helping to get the car to its current state, in no particular order

I have learnt a lot and made some long lasting friendships since I started working on the car! There has been some real disappointments and some really good moments!
