Hi There. I just bought a F30 320D and the Kilos are 196000km. I was not sure how the previous owner serviced it so I did an oil and oil filter change and also replaced the air filter. Before I did the minor service it was smoking excessively on a cold start in the morning. after the service it still smokes in the morning but very much less and the exhaust fumes are quite rich. I do drive trucks so I know how a clean burning diesel engine smells. The only culprit I suspect can be the crank case breather. I do not find anything on the net or youtube related to the f30 diesel engines crank case breather valves. can anyone give me some advice on this issue and how to resolve the problem. thank you. my name is Thabit
