Was really an awesome run guys! Many many thanks to Grant and Jeff for organising this - pity you couldn't make it Jeff. Have visions of a red M5 spitting flames along Chapman's Peak!

Need to edit my pics and upload, hopefully in a few... Vid is going to take a bit longer - almost 14 gigs! :fencelook:

Philip, what did you think of the conquest that almost sandwiched me against the barrier on the M5?

Didn't see, but was caught up by a slower moving Megane as we got onto the M5. Checked my vids and couldn't see anything - thought maybe you were talking about that stretch along Black River Parkway with the roadworks, but not.

Your 330 is awesomness. You really look well after her. :inlove:

:ty:

The E46 is, in my opinion, one of the best looking BM's out there, and I do try my best to keep her in good shape :)

Yes it was along the black river stretch when going over the 2nd bridge just before the onramp. She came over into my lane while I was passing her. I had to brake and back off a bit. I was in her blind spot at the time

Bummed I missed it too.... next one though :=):
That SS looks amazing, at least between the Lumina and Jandre's 540i there was some V8 grumble on the run

Steven (Lumina) and I were cruising home together yesterday, both sitting on a comfortable 100km/h on the M3, V8's barely ticking over.

The 540 is dead quiet, the Lumina has this low low, quiet rumble. Kinda like the silence before the storm.

Freaking love it.

P.S. I need to put an exhaust on my car to wake that V8 up a bit.

I am also so glad that the weather played along! For me even if it rained it would have been a blast, but it was very pleasant yesterday!! Glad that I did wash the car - which almost didn't happen!

Hmm, I think I know where this happened, there was an off ramp and lots those chevron roadworks boards that narrowed the two lanes a bit, and it was an old Golfie that was in front to the right of you that was not really paying attention. Can actually see you having to back off a few time and then brake before the sling-shot past him. The last part of that and then onto the N1 was fun - in the vid you killed a news paper that was flying about on the road, looked pretty cool!
