Damm I am getting old fast now, and forgetfull, it feels like last year or so

time for me to find a retirement village for Alzheimer sufferers.

There was this one in May 2017, which i attended in the X1,

I had my son with me and yes one has to be careful travelling in any convoy and the bunching up cannot be avoided especially in large numbers.

There was spirited acceleration from the toll gates and other stops, recklessness? Not that I saw.

The wife has plans on Sunday, so if I join, both my kids will be tagging along.

the convoy started doing the "childrens SLINKY" thing, harsh accelerating, harsh braking, to try and be a part of the convoy, which was way too much concentration for a sunday morning leisurely drive.
eventually I was the lead of a break away portion, (probably tail end charlie), and found myself being dangerously overtaken on solid white lines and blind corners etc.......way too much stress for me to consider it "enjoyable"

I will allow all to pass :smilebounce::smilebounce::smilebounce:

in fact I would probably like to be at the end of the convoy, and drive at my own pace and style, and arrive half hour later ...LOL

If you leave the Dealership last, i doubt you will have any issue at the tail end.

broke thru the 89 000 odometer mark

"she" looks so small between all the "bigger" boys

and on the way back I decided to brave the unknown R515 to Bapsfontein then to Kempton

surprisingly good quality road even for a "Z"

Nice run, would like to suggest we create more time to view each other's cars,

Perhaps arrange a day in a park like area where we can bring cooler boxes, braai and relax with families and friends.

Would have loved to get much closer to some of the cars,
