Hi guys

Any advice on where I can get good quality brake discs and pads for an E70 X5 - looking for the fronts. I tried the stealers and Diesel Electric (who say they only stock the rear brake discs :thumbdo:)so just shopping around.

I will send you contact details tomorrow. I ordered front and rear, slotted and heat treated with top of the rang Ferodo pads, for around R 6,000.00

Have a look at the Ferodo website and enter your vehicle's details there to find the required parts:
http://www.ferodo.com/

I entered Bmw X5 E70 4.8Lt and came up with FDB4052 and FDB4079 for front brake pads. DDF1713 for front brake discs.

From my experience Diesel Electric does more ATE than Ferodo. Try Midas for Ferodo. You can also try Masterparts, they do Metelli for brakes. ATE has a similar online catalogue that you can lookup.

I've emailed them for a quote. They not in Durban though.

Send Moranor a PM, he can help you with getting the parts from Imcommex and ship it directly to you.

The Bosch QuiteCast premium range has both pads and rotors. I used the pads on my Touareg and they were face similar to the original Brembo pads and were plug and play.

Have a look HERE for parts based on your engine size. I ordered mine off Amazon.com and they arrived within a couple of days.

Never used them. I would think they're alright. But I would stick to jurid, textar and ATE

Having trouble sourcing ATE disks. Nobody seems to stock them. Can get ATE pads though funny enough. Make's you wonder :hammerhead:. If not ATE then perhaps Ferodo.
