Hi Guys
This is my first post here. Hope you can help.
As the topic states, I drive a e92 325i N52. This afternoon, while driving, my brake pedal went extremely hard. It feels exactly the same with the car off or idling. What I done so far, I disconnected the vacuum pipe and with the car idling discovered no vacuum from the pump. I checked the plastic vacuum pipes for leaks by simply removing the pipe, blocking it off on one side and blowing into the pipe. No leaks.
Am I correct in thinking the pump is faulty? If so, can it be repaired, or do I have to replace the pump? What else could be the cause of this brake failure?
Also, how hard is it to remove the pump?
