Ferodo ceramic also squeal alot. I have them fitted and i will be changing them soon rather go back to OEM.

Ok Ceramic sqeul but If you Put Copperslip on the right places you dont have sqeul. Even the hyens manual tell you that. Where ever the pad is in contact with the callipar that is where you put a bit of Copperslip, (you will see where the pad is in contact with the callipar when you remove the old one its the shiny bits where the paint has been worked off). and ofcourse the back face of the pad where it presses against the callipar and where the piston presses on the inner pad. Im trying the Ferodo premium now and so far No Squeal.

Ok will try it out next weekend when I change wheel bearings.
Thanks

Few years ago I went through an expensive bout with brakes. Started with ATE, then Ferodo and then something called Autobahn I think, and then copper greasing and then other disks. Front and back
Nothing could stop the squeeking.:bangdesk:
I was loosing my mind faster than what I was loosing money.
Off to the stealers and paid R800 for 1 set of pads. No more squeeking.

Did some more research and was told by a mecchie that next time I should try Safeline pads.
So next time I did and what a relieve, no squeeking at all
I am now nearing the end of my second set of Safeline's (front and back) and will continue to use this brand. They feel very soft and braking is smooth and QUIET.
Another benefit is very little dust on the mags.
Good on price as well esp at Autoparts.
Need to call them and see if they still stock these pads

Bedded my brakes this weekend and so far so good, haven't had a single squeal out of them. Did it at 12:30 at night so people wouldn't think that I was crazy (some people on the freeway slowed down to take a look :mmm: )

It was quite cold so i'm not sure it was the best time to do it but i'll see how they go once the weather changes.

On a related note, the brakes on the 330 are solid, I almost got sick from the sudden braking, good to know
