Boot lock weirdness

Hi Guys

I have a small but weird issue with my e36 boot lock... With the car off, All the doors will lock when I lock the boot but the doors will not unlock when I unlock the boot.

Now, with my spare key in the ignition in position 2, the boot will lock and unlock all the doors with no issues at all.

Weird hey? Any ideas of where to start looking? All the fuses in the fuse box are fine...hidden fuses maybe?

Mine doesn't lock or unlock the doors. Haven't tried with the car on yet. Subscribing to this thread....I'd love to see where it goes
