boosting a 325i

hi Bavarian brothers just need some help
i plan on boosting my e46 in the next couple of weeks
i have all the parts needed, all that's left is the manifold and the downpipe
so what i needed to know is will a 330d manifold fit the 325 head?
iv been quoted 8500 for a manifold and down-pipe from 4 different shops and that just does not seem like a good deal as compared to the R1200 for a 2nd 330d mani, i understand that the diesel flange is tri-angular shaped but another flange can be welded on so that wont be a problem

Nooooo! The 330d manifold will not work and will be too restrictive for higher Rpm. Speak to sean at level 7 Motorsport or Marius at full boost performance, Sav might also be able to help with a cast manifold as the E36/E46 non m’s share the same exhaust port bolt patterns. R8k is F$%^ expensive and a stainless manifold will cost about R4500,00 :thumbs:

my opinion ,

1 .get a cast manifold , or a branch manifold from e bay ,

2 . if the 330 d mani fits , go for it if u know someone that can do the job .

3.weld two turbos onto ur existing headers and have the downpipes made up ,x35 style.

use it dont use it
